Coming up next in Nickelodeon is the most awaited awards night in the world of kids and tweens, the Kids Choice Awards. The Kids Choice Awards also popularly known as KCAs or Nick Choice Awards is an award giving body honoring artists, television, movie, and music acts, as voted by Nickelodeon viewers which majorly composed of kids with age range of 10 to 17.
Kids Choice Awards 2011 Live Online -This year is 24th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards which is set to be held on April 2, 2011 at 8 p.m. ET at the Galen Center at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles’s University Park neighborhood. For the third time Jack Black will be hosting the show. Jack Black hosted the KCA Awards Night in 2006, 2008 and 2011. The pre-show program will be hosted by Daniella Monet of Victorious, Noah Munck of iCarly and Jeff Sutphen of BrainSurge.
Kids Choice Awards 2011 Live Online -Musical performances during the KCA 2011 awards include Victoria Justice singing her “Beggin’ On Your Knees single on the orange Carpet pre-show. The casts of Big Time Rush will also perform the “Boyfriend” single from their debut album BTR. Plus performances from The Black Eyed Peas and Willow Smith singing medley of their hit songs. The pop princess Britney Spears will be in the show for a special appearance.
Kids Choice Awards 2011 Live Online -Since 2009 KCA added a new award called The Big Green Help (The Big Help) Award. The winner of this award is given a green version of the orange Blimp award trophy and it is presented to the celebrity who goes above and beyond to help the environment. The Kids Choice Awards 2011 Big Help Award is given to Justin Timberlake.
One of the most-awaited moments in the Kids Choice Awards is the slimming moment. During a Kids’ Choice Awards, sometimes a celebrity might not know when they are going to be slimed onstage or offstage. Hosts have also been slimed, mostly in the finale of the show. It is actually the most fun part of the show. In KCA tradition “Sliming Is An Honor” and never used as a penalty.
